How to Recycle Home Depot Electronics

Locate an electronics collection center near your area. (See Resources)

Enter your local information, such as your address and/or zip code and select the type of electronic device to be recycled.

Write down the address and phone number for the local recycle center on the page of results. Call the center to get more information about open times, and collection processes.

Have your electronics prepared for pickup or delivery on the date and time given to you by the center.

Locate a Home Depot Store near you by entering the Home Depot Store Finder. (See Resources.) The store contains orange collection boxes specifically for expired Compact Fluorescent Bulbs.

Enter your zip code and click “Find Store.” Locate the store closest to you in the list of results.

Call the store to ensure that the location contains CFL collection boxes.
- 4
Place the expired bulb(s) in a plastic bag and drop them into the collection box at the selected Home Depot location.
